“Setting out on this wonderful adventure, I combined two of my great passions: aeroplanes and watches.
I have been flying ever since I was young, just like my father and my older brother. You could say that flight is part of the Calamai DNA.

The F-104 Turbine

Giving new life to a legend.

The F-104 is one of the fighter planes that best encapsulates the values present in our watches.

Exuberant and tough to control, the Starfighter was the last fighter plane to be managed entirely by the pilot.

The casing of each watch was forged by melting the steel of the G.E. turbine that powered an F-104 of the Italian Air Force. Indeed, the serial number of the exact turbine disc utilised is engraved on the caseback.

To reach the highest levels of precision, each casing is forged through lost-wax microfusion and then hand-finished.
